We are currently trying to raise the last £120,000 needed to secure a grant of over £1.9million from the Heritage Lottery Fund to restore the building back to its original 1930’s condition. If we don’t secure this funding the investment will be lost and the Plaza, alongside Stockport will have missed a golden opportunity to become a leading centre of Art and Culture within the North West of England. The Stockport Plaza Trust is now appealing to 120 businesses to donate £1,000 and become part of the Plaza’s success. In return for your generosity and support your business would receive the following benefits package.

• Access to our corporate facilities (most recently used by the Chamber of Commerce and HBG for a property development launch)

• Tickets to our famous Christmas Pantomime – a great twist on a staff Christmas party! (Maximum of 20 members of staff)

• Have your companies’ logo and a link to your website displayed on this webpage which, on average, gets over 140,000 hits a month
