With a crash of thunder and a flash of lights the North Wests GIANT family pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk opened to a packed house in Stockports home of family entertainment.

Claire Sweeney star of TV and West End Theatre stars as the oh so wicked Fairy Belladona and soon had the audience screaming and boo-ing in true classic panto style whilst Paul Shane the undoubted King of Hi de Hi and national treasure showed why he is such a loved star of the small screen.

With special effects that brough cheers from the audience, dance routines that have become a by word for excellence, glitzy and glamourous costumes and strong performances from the wonderful cast including the welcome return of Craig Perry who played Peter Pan last year and has returned due to popular demand in the title role as Jack Durden this year it is little wonder that this years family extravaganza has already outstripped last years box office sales and shows that affordable family pantomime at the Stockport Plaza is alive and well....oh yes it is!
