The Plaza is a Registered Charity, no. 1076494. All profits are retained by to protect, preserve and promote the Super Cinema as an exciting example of 1930’ s architecture.
The Plaza has commenced Stage 1 of an exciting Restoration project but to continue the ongoing maintenance and restoration appeal of this fine example of the last remaining Super Cinema and Variety Theatre in the Uk still running in its original format we need ever penny you can spare to support the works carried out by our dedicated team of volunteers.
You can help by making a donation. We've teamed up with Just Giving to make donating easier. Alternatively, send your donation to Stewart Ash, Financial Manager, Stockport Plaza Trust, Mersey Square, Stockport, SK1 1SP. Don't forget to complete the Gift Aid form and send this with your donation.
We are delighted to also offer you the chance to support the latest aspect of our ongoing Maintenance and Restoration appeal 'Light Up the Plaza', a scheme to reinstate the magnificent auditorium lighting that will complete this section of our aim to bring the Plaza back to her magnificent 1932 Art Deco glory by downloading the attached letter and forwarding your donation to our freepost address.
