WHAT CAN YOU DO?
The Plaza depends on Volunteers for a variety of roles. If you would like to help, please complete the Volunteer Recruitment Form and either e-mail it to boxoffice@stockportplaza.co.uk or post it to The Plaza, Mersey Square, Stockport, SK1 1SP. Our Volunteer Administrator, Eleanor Wales, will then contact you.

If you are 16 – 25, you could become a Millennium Volunteer, part of a national scheme to encourage, support and recognize young people who volunteer their time for the benefit of others. For further details, log onto www.wearev.com/mv/index.php

On 30th April 2002, Her Majesty The Queen announced the creation of a new, annual award to mark the occasion of her Golden Jubilee. The Award recognises the vital role played by the hundreds of thousands of ‘unsung heroes’ of the voluntary and community world and emphasises the importance of continuing recognition of their work. was the winner of The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services in 2004.
